• TrueTandem is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our Commercial practice.

• You’ll help build high-visibility digital experiences that power national and local sports coverage across our top media clients, serving millions of readers.

• This role requires hands-on development using React, Next.js, and Node.js, with opportunities to work on cloud-native architecture, real-time sports data, and engaging user experiences.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in full-stack web development.

• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.

• Strong experience with Next.js, including SSR/SSG, routing, and data fetching patterns.

• Experience developing backend services using Node.js and Express, including building and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Experience with version control systems (GitHub or GitLab).

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai).

• Understanding of accessibility best practices and responsive design.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional agile teams.

• Experience working with sports data, real-time data feeds, or live content applications.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.

• Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, OAuth2, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with content platforms like Shopify or CMS integrations.

• Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
