Frontend Engineer, Web/Mobile

Description

• Design, develop, and optimize responsive UI components using React.js (Web) and React Native (iOS & Android) • Integrate real-time features such as live messaging, match scores, typing indicators, read receipts, etc. • Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build a seamless, consistent cross-platform user experience • Optimize application for performance, memory usage, and low-latency rendering, especially in media-heavy modules like reels, feeds, and video calls • Implement and manage state management using tools like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil • Work with WebSockets, Push Notifications, and Streaming APIs • Ensure consistent design with Pixel-perfect UIs using tools like Tailwind, Styled Components, or NativeBase • Maintain code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and using TypeScript for type safety • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in code reviews and agile sprint planning

Requirements

• 7–8 years professional experience in frontend engineering • Strong experience with: React (web) and React Native (mobile) • Typescript, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind or similar • Mobile app deployment (App Store + Play Store) • Webpack, Vite, or similar build tools • Demonstrated startup experience: you’ve worked in lean teams and shipped MVPs • Strong understanding of mobile UX/UI principles • Bonus if you’ve worked on video editing/streaming, real-time messaging, or multilingual apps • Comfortable working in an agile environment with limited resources • Excited by a mission-driven product that brings people together through football
