Frontend Engineer

Description

• Work day-to-day in a cross-functional team to build and evolve Spotify’s Ads web applications • Create intuitive frontend experiences that make complex data easy to understand and act on • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and data services into scalable user interfaces • Design and maintain reusable UI components and modern frontend architecture • Continuously improve performance, accessibility, and usability across applications • Contribute to technical design, planning, and delivery of scalable solutions • Share knowledge and contribute to a strong, collaborative frontend engineering culture

Requirements

• You have experience building modern web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React • You are comfortable working with APIs such as REST, GraphQL, or gRPC • You understand how to build accessible, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using HTML and CSS • You know how to handle real-world UI challenges like loading states, pagination, and error handling • You have experience with testing, debugging, and continuous delivery practices • You care about performance, usability, and creating high-quality user experiences • You collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and communicate clearly • You take ownership of your work, stay curious, and contribute to team success
