Frontend Engineer

Description

• Report to Brian DeMaio as part of the user interface team for the Sky Road platform

• Design and develop user-facing features using Angular and TypeScript

• Engineer software solutions tailored for multi-tenant configuration-driven environments

• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

• Develop automated Karma/Jasmine and regression tests

• Triage, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues using Jira and Sentry

• Help to improve and maintain documentation for internal team members

• Collaborate with other UI team members to improve user experience, performance, and functionality of the Sky Road platform

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• Experience with Angular and TypeScript

• Experience using UI component frameworks such as Angular Material

• Experience using HTML, CSS, SCSS

• Experience calling REST APIs from a front-end application

• Experience with Node.js/Javascript

• Experience with AG Grid, D3.js, Tailwind, or GraphQL (desired)

• Experience with Test Driven Development and frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Playwright (desired)

• Familiarity building Financial Software Applications (desired)

• Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Visual Studio Code (desired)

• Experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android (desired)

• Experience designing user interfaces using tools such as Figma (desired)

• Good communication and teamwork; motivation to learn new skills
