Our technology team develops, tests, and operates one of the largest e-commerce sites in the country. As a Frontend Engineer and reporting to the Head of Engineering Experience, you'll work on a focused delivery team building new functionality and maintaining our enterprise level software environment.

You will have a hybrid working model, coming to our modern downtown Toronto office twice a week.

Responsibilities

• Work with your team to deliver well crafted, high quality, well-tested and scalable code.
• Participate in the entire software lifecycle from design to implementation.
• Know the codebase and write clean code, collaborate, mentor, and learn together.
• Find a good balance between short-term delivery and long-term scalability goals.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by tackling tech debt, conducting code reviews, initiating refactoring and improving build and test systems

What We Are Looking For

• Deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• 3+ years experience with React and NextJS, or similar Frontend frameworks.
• Experience with GraphQL, REST, and data fetching approaches in general.
• Experience with CSS.
