As a Frontend Engineer at EvenUp, you'll be a pivotal part of our rapidly growing team, playing a crucial role in developing our groundbreaking legal platform. You’ll work closely with an innovative team of engineers, data scientists and legal experts to actively shape the product’s development and deliver mission critical, user-centric and intuitive interfaces. This role is not just about coding, it’s about building first-of-a-kind technology with a meaningful impact on millions of lives.
What you’ll do:
- Build and refine the front-end of our AI-driven platform to deliver an intuitive, responsive and user-friendly interface
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product owners & designers to develop efficient, innovative solutions
- Implement robust, maintainable, reusable code in a modern tech-stack including React, Typescript, and other technologies
- Optimizing application performance and responsiveness to ensure a smooth user experience
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on ideas with a focus on delivering production-ready code in a fast-paced environment
- Engage in continuous learning opportunities including exposure to ML, data engineering, and DevOps practices
- Actively engage in the full project lifecycle, with full ownership from conception to deployment and iteration
- Work with a world-class team: Our team has deep expertise in technology, machine learning, law, and finance, combining experiences from careers at Google, Uber, Waymo, Quora, Vimeo, Blizzard, and more
What we look for:
- Depth of experience with building frontend interfaces in modern web technologies with a proven track record of shipping high-quality software
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks with a strong working knowledge of Javascript, CSS norms and a core understanding of the DOM
- Eagerness to own a project from conception to completion, demonstrating initiative, creativity and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical ideas or issues in easy-to-understand and actionable terms
- Demonstrated success in mentoring peers and growing team members
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments ideally in a startup or similar setting
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Bonus: experience in AI, legal tech, and social impact projects.
