A DAY IN THE LIFE:

As a Front End Software Engineer, you'll kick off the day by syncing with your cross-functional team of designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to align on priorities and progress. Your day will involve designing and implementing robust, scalable user interfaces, coding mostly in Java, JavaScript and Typescript, using modern frameworks like React. You'll collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless user experience, write clean and reusable code, and optimize front-end performance to handle high-traffic fintech applications. By the end of the day, you'll review pull requests, refine sprint goals, and explore innovative ways to enhance user satisfaction.

• High-Quality Code: Deliver clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end code that meets performance and security standards.
• Feature Development: Translate complex requirements into intuitive user interfaces that address user pain points effectively.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product and design teams to bring features to life, ensuring they align with business goals and user needs.
• Performance Optimization: Improve load times, responsiveness, and overall performance of web applications.
• Code Reviews: Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing and mentoring junior engineers on best practices.
• Innovation: Explore and implement emerging technologies to stay ahead in the fast-paced fintech landscape.

Job Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of professional software development, 3+ years of front end development, with a focus on SaaS or FinTech, is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js, along with knowledge of RESTful APIs and state management tools like Redux.
• Project Management: Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other similar project management tools is a plus!
• Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle complex challenges and propose elegant, user-centric solutions.
• Attention to Detail: A passion for pixel-perfect implementation and a deep understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in agile teams.
• Mindset: A growth-oriented attitude, openness to feedback, and a willingness to mentor others.
