Description

• Remote Front-End Engineer role for healthcare client project focused on Value-Based Care digital transformation Role requires expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling Collaborates with cross-functional teams; emphasizes AI integration, UI observability, and accessible design

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent degree(s)/work experience 3+ years of hands-on, professional development experience with Javascript/TypeScript framework React (React 17 preferred).

• Experience building real-time or streaming UIs, such as chat interfaces Strong HTML/CSS/DOM skills, including accessibility (WCAG), responsive design, and component-level styling (e.g., Tailwind, CSS Modules, or styled-components).

• Deep understanding of state management in single-page applications (e.g. Redux or Context API) Familiarity with component libraries and design systems (e.g., Material UI, ShadCN, or custom).

• Experience with frontend build tools and bundlers (e.g., Vite, Webpack). Familiarity with code quality tooling (e.g., ESLint, React Testing Library).

• Familiarity with version control (Git) and modern CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions).

• Experience with analytics or observability (e.g., Mixpanel, Sentry, Datadog) to track UI behavior and issues.

• Hands on Cloud experience, preferably with Amazon Web Services.

• Knowledge or experience with Generative AI, or AI multi-agent systems is preferred, especially in areas of integration with front end applications.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts, user prompt templates, and ways to display model context/output clearly and safely to end users.

• Ability to work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with good practices around error handling, retries, and user feedback.

• Experience designing or implementing conversational interfaces, AI copilots, or chat-based UX (e.g., understanding turn-taking, message alignment, user input constraints).

• Ability to implement feedback capture mechanisms (thumbs up/down, inline ratings, comment prompts, etc.) for human-in-the-loop learning.

• Familiarity with debouncing, optimistic updates, and other performance UX patterns for real-time interaction.
