Front End Engineer II

Description

• Build, optimize, and maintain user interfaces that deliver exceptional experiences across our platform.

• Contribute to and evolve Koddi’s front-end design system and component library to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and back-end teams to translate requirements into performant, maintainable code.

• Use modern front-end practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and code review to ensure reliability and high-quality releases.

• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making to improve scalability and maintainability.

• Continuously explore and implement new technologies to enhance performance, usability, and developer experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience building and maintaining complex front-end applications using React (preferred), Angular, or Vue.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and RESTful API integration.

• Deep understanding of single-page application architecture, state management, and front-end performance optimization.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library and with CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with component-driven design, design systems, and front-end build tools such as Webpack or Vite.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, design, and product teams.

• A continuous learner who is eager to explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

• You have competence with logical and technical problem solving, and a proven ability to research and recommend the appropriate interactive technologies needed

• You’re people-oriented, friendly, and personable.

• You have the ability to learn quickly and continuously, and are comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• You are organized, manage your time well, and are committed to quality and thoroughness.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is ideal but not required.
