What you'll do

• Lead, mentor and manage the front-end development team.
• Guide the team to design and implement user-centred interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Drive the development and implementation of UI development.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to improve usability and meet product stakeholder requirements.
• Collaborate with the creative/product design teams on mock-ups, design, and UX.
• Maintain quality and consistency of user interfaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in UI development with a focus on building responsive web designs.
• At least 3 years of experience leading a development team.
• 5+ years of experience developing user interfaces for web-based products.
• Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Expert knowledge of responsive web design principles and UI/UX best practices.
• Proven experience using ReactJS and other relevant libraries/frameworks.
• Significant experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
• Familiarity with RESTful API integration.
• Experience with common front-end development tools.
• Proficiency with source control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Attention to detail, with a commitment to high quality, accuracy, and delivery.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and capability to jump in and write code to lead by example.
