Founding Engineer

As one of our first engineering hires, you’ll have an extremely high degree of autonomy and agency at Codes. You’ll own projects from start to finish, designing the requirements and implementing the solution with customers.

What we’re looking for:

• A full-stack generalist who thrives across the stack
• You think equally about big picture and specific details, while executing with speed. Strategizing is 20%, execution is 80%
• Fast learner who makes new tech useful, fast
• Run through walls mentality. There is no task beneath us today, and that will be the culture at the company, forever

What you’ll be doing:

1. Building core features on the Codes Health platform used by our customers
2. Developing internal tools that scale our ops
3. Supporting customer relationships and rapidly iterating on feedback
4. Ideal Experience
5. Prior experience at an early or fast growing startup
6. Experience with both frontend and backend technologies
7. Experience working with LLMs

• Typescript/React Frontend
• Python/FastAPI Backend

About Codes Health* At Codes Health, we’re building a new gateway to collecting and understanding medical data. We work directly with patients to understand their medical history, automatically request records from their past providers and apply AI to extract relevant insights for the requestor. This has far reaching applications for requestors of records in Healthcare, Legal and Insurance industries.
