Description

• Lead the design, specifications, and estimation of engineering projects in the Higharc Studio space, as well as management of team capacity and work assignments.

• Collaborate closely on a shared problem space with the Building Generation team which focuses on the computational geometry underlying the Studio product

• Maintain a deep level of understanding of the technical aspects of our product to help facilitate fast, informed decisions.

• Identify, develop, and institute new processes that raise quality while also delivering rapidly on strategic projects

• Effectively inspire, develop, and grow the talent on your team via regular 1:1’s, annual performance reviews, and continual actionable feedback

• Develop a team of high-performing engineers, partnering with senior engineers to multiply their impact, and mentoring more junior engineers.

• Foster ownership, inclusiveness, accountability, high standards, and urgency in the team.

Requirements

• Experience building complex, frontend-heavy interactive web applications that are widely used and loved

• Demonstrated proficiency with React/Redux applications in TypeScript/JavaScript

• Bonus points for familiarity with Three.js or similar graphics frameworks • Success in managing a high-impact team in a remote work environment

• 3+ years of experience as a people lead, with demonstrated ability to ensure the success and growth of your team members

• A history of healthy collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other engineering managers on developing roadmaps and working towards them
