Engineering Manager

Description

• Lead a cross-functional AI product engineering team, owning strategy and execution across multiple Copilot experiences • Drive technical direction and product evolution for the AI stack, inference backend, user-facing AI products • Interface closely with the AI Research and Model Training team to align on model capabilities, evaluation methodology, data/training pipelines, and the productionization path for new models and techniques • Oversee infrastructure, on-call rotations, and operational processes. • Operate in a player-coach model, contributing 50% of your time to hands-on engineering: • Writing evals • Testing and debugging features • Occasionally contributing to inference stack development • This position will require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties

Requirements

• 4–7 years of Engineering Management experience • Recent (within 5 years) hands-on engineering experience in: TypeScript / JavaScript, Python or Go • Background in B2B SaaS product development • Demonstrated interest in AI/ML • Can articulate informed opinions about current AI trends • Experience working directly with AI products • Strong communication skills and leadership presence in a distributed team
