Backend Developer, NodeJS/TypeScript

Description

• Design and implement the logic of the server-side application • Develop APIs, create libraries and manage system components • Integrate external services, such as different gym management software, to improve functionality and provide data information • Support our customers by implementing their comments and solving technical problems • Collaborate closely with the team to build a consistent, efficient and receptive application • Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code • Communicate directly with customers for product design, onboarding and training purposes • Occasionally travel around Europe to understand Better the workflows of the gyms and the needs of the users

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building backend systems (including at least 1 year using Node.js, Javascript and TypeScript) • Verifiable production experience with SQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL using Prisma ORM) • Passion for guiding and sharing knowledge with less experienced developers • Strong sense of ownership and commitment to writing high quality and testable code • Fast learner with creative mindset and problem-solving attitude • Customer-obsessed mentality: you care deeply about the user experience • Experience working in agile and accelerated startup environments • Excellent communication skills; fluent English (level C1)
