Description

• Maintain and enhance existing web applications built with React and Vue.js. • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure. • Configure and maintain security, DNS, and performance using Cloudflare and related services. • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes. • Collaborate with developers to deploy updates, patches, and new features. • Automate deployment pipelines and optimize CI/CD processes. • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of web applications. • Document infrastructure setups, deployment procedures, and maintenance tasks. • Send daily end-of-day reports on tasks worked, pending items to be addressed, wins and help needed if any, among other updates in relation to tasks assigned. • Communicate directly with the Chief of Staff, CEO, clients, and stakeholders to manage projects and translate these into smart goals for the team. • Attend scheduled meetings to provide project and task updates. • Help support and lead the security and compliance requirements of the company and the client, such as adherence to SOC2. • Build scalable backend systems that power our website/platform. • Integrate backend services with Webflow (and potentially other no-code/low-code tools such as Lovable). • Design, implement, and maintain database solutions using Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service technologies. • Provide technical guidance and communicate backend architecture solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Support hiring requirements, such as screening developers when needed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a backend web developer. • Experience supporting US or offshore clients as a developer is a plus. • Good English communication skills. • Proven ability to set clear goals, communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and deliver results. • Experience with Security and Compliance, such as SOC2 and Vanta. • Ability to understand and manage DNS, experience with GoDaddy, Cloudflare, and DigitalOcean. • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), HTML, CSS, and experience with different programming languages and technologies. • Advanced knowledge of frontend and backend frameworks such as Vue.js 3, Tailwind, Vite and AdonisJS 5. • Advanced knowledge of databases, specifically Postgres, Redis, and MongoDB (both SQL and NoSQL). • Advanced knowledge of Git using Bitbucket and Jira and CI/CD pipeline implementations. • Experience in deploying websites using tools like Dokku, Docker, and docker-compose. • Familiarity with the Agile Framework and Secure Development best practices. • Capacity to explain technical terms and processes to non-technical individuals and work effectively in teams. • A ready and available portfolio or GitHub account for review during the interview process. • Well-rounded and adaptable, with a strong willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies and the flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and technologies. • Hands-on experience with Webflow integrations, Supabase, or similar platforms. • Ability to discuss and plan end-to-end system architecture for a growing platform. • Must be able to accommodate changes in schedule depending on stakeholders' availability.
