Are you a Senior Backend Developer looking for a challenging role with an impact-driven startup that helps more than 1m content creators gain fame and fortune? Do you enjoy taking ownership of designing, developing and maintaining a high-performing infrastructure that can scale efficiently using the latest tools and technologies? Was that a big yes? What Your Day Will Look Like:

• Writing and implementing, clean, scalable code, and troubleshooting and debugging code someone else wrote (yours is great, we know!)
• Researching and designing new services, features, and applications. Verifying and deploying software systems, in production.
• Evaluating user feedback, and recommending (and executing) improvements.
• Creating technical documents and mentoring other developers. Gaming/Twitch/YouTube on the side? We love that.

Requirements

• Server-side hands-on coding experience
• Experience working with SQL
• Proven track record with high scale systems
• Coding experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
• Experience with Observability (Prometheus/Grafana) - a plus
• Experience with Golang - a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes - a plus
• Experience with GCP - a plus
• Experience with MongoDB/Redis/PubSub/NATS - a plus Experience with ReactJS - a plus

Remote First:

StreamElements provides production, monetization, audience engagement, and influencer marketing tools and services for livestreams and videos on demand. Our tools power over 1.8 million digital content creators. StreamElements also works with brands across all industries who want to sponsor content creators, providing them with performance marketing campaigns at scale.

We've been remote from the start (with a gathering space in Tel Aviv) and offer stipends for home office setup while making sure you have all of the tech you need to collaborate with your colleagues. We have a strong culture around meetings and asynchronous communication to support it (slack, notion, jira, etc). You are expected to manage your own time throughout the day, and show flexibility when communicating with people in other timezones.
